Dunbar, Scotland is the main family base. Dunbar is a town on the North Sea coast in East Lothian in the south-east of Scotland, approximately 30 miles east of Edinburgh and 30 miles from the English border north of Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Between us we've lived all over the world: Spain, Scotland, France, England, Italy, Ireland, Zimbabwe, China, Taiwan, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Timor-Leste, Cambodia, Australia, USA and Canada

The Barnes Franco family main base is in Dunbar, Scotland but at any time we are likely to be found either elsewhere in Scotland or China, in Saskatoon, Canada, Melbourne, Australia or somewhere in Timor Leste. We are involved in software development, education, anthropological research and language learning. Some members have their own websites.
